Brushton Fun To Run

The annual Brushton Fun To Run is a fun run in Brushton New York that raises money for local schools and sports team. MTL Design first developed their site in 2014 for the organisation and has since redesign and developed the site in 2015 to provide a more streamlined approach to registrations. MTL Design has designed a contemporary site with a full e-commerce system for registrations. Being a not for profit organisation this was a project of passion.

JR Reunion

The JR Reunion project was developed for an existing customer of MTL Design, Tingira Australia. The organisation were in the process of planing a reunion of over 2000 past and present Australian Navy Sailors when MTL Design was approached and asked for advice on how to automate such a large event. MTL Design created a full e-commerce site that allowed users to register for the events they would like to attend, pay directly by credit card or pay pal and then receive their unique tickets within minutes in the inbox. The events are set to be a success in November 2015.

Bottom of The Atlas

Bottom of the Atlas is a small side project MTL Design are currently developing. MTL Design has designed all elements of the site, from logo to user interface. The website is currently a platform for fans of Australian Hip Hop to read about the latest news, tours and new music.

In its current state the site provides new articles sourced from various industry sources in one place, allows artists/managers to submit content to be shared and interact with other users. In the near future MTL Design plans on developing a gig guide and catalogue of artists, albums and songs which can be purchased on several different online services including iTunes. In the distant future MTL Design plans on developing the site into a forum for users to discuss all things relating to Australian Hip Hop.

Australian Traveller Magazine

On several occasions MTL Design have worked with one of Australia’s premier travel magazines, Australian Traveller. The magazine highlights various unique travel locations around the country. When working with Australian Traveller MTL Design will work from a design brief from the magazine and their client to achieve a design that fits in with the flow of the magazine and the branding of the client. Samples of my work with Australian Traveller can be seen below.

Deified Clothing

Defied Clothing
is a website MTL Design designed and developed as one of my final projects during my time at the Australian Catholic University. The client, Deified Clothing was a fellow student who designed all of the products on the site. The site is a WordPress based e-commerce store allowing users to purchase products via pay pal. This site presented some interesting challenges as the client wanted a minimal design with a limited colour pallet. To view this project click here.

Young Sydney Artists

Young Sydney Artists is a website MTL Design designed and developed for the 2014 graduating class of the Bachelor of Visual Arts & Design at the Australian Catholic University. It was designed to promote the graduation exhibition and the students who were exhibiting at the event.

“Each year The Australian Catholic University, in correspondence with The McGlade Gallery, invites the public to a Bachelor of Visual Arts and Design Student Exhibition. This exhibition of work relates to a yearlong design process developed by students demonstrating skilful practices in graphic media, textiles, fine art and many more mediums.”
